MEET PAUL & RACHEL METCALF
On August 9, 1997, at the age of 20, Paul had a radical encounter with the Holy Spirit that would change his life forever. A deep hunger was birthed in Paul for the things of God which ignited a passion to seek after and search for God like he had never done up to that point. This encounter launched Paul into a two year period of four to six hours a night of prayer, worship and study of the word. During this time Paul had numerous encounters with Holy Spirit and with angels that marked his life in a very profound way. It was during this time as well that Holy Spirit started revealing some of his assignments in the kingdom. Three specific things were revealed during this time by Holy Spirit. The first was his prophetic call, the next was his call to the nations of the earth and finally to see every sickness and disease bow to the authority of Jesus. Since that experience, he has continued to hunger and thirst for God's manifested presence. He has traveled multiple times overseas to places like Indonesia, India, the Philippines, Mexico, Guatemala and Nicaragua seeing the power of God displayed with signs, wonders, and miracles. He has also ministered in crusades and witnessed thousands accepting salvation. One of Paul's greatest desires is to awaken within people the ability to be naturally supernatural. Paul is also an integral part of the leadership team at Freedom Point Community Church and oversees Birmingham Apostolic Network. Paul is an ordained minister with the Apostolic Network of Global Awakening founded by Randy Clark and helps connect network members in both Alabama and Georgia.
At the age of 14, Rachel began sowing her allowance to a missionary couple. Years later, her dream of going overseas became a reality. This led to her traveling to India and multiple times to Indonesia and seeing first hand the miraculous power of God impacting thousands of lives. She has a powerful prophetic anointing and her heart's desire is to hear the voice of God with great clarity and move with the Holy Spirit while minstering alongside Paul. She longs to see the Kingdom of God established in every part of the world. She envisions people who feel they can't make an impact in their lives truly walk in what God destined them to be and change the world.
